CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR TRACK TEAM & COACHES:

The track season goes by so quickly, but our strong team of (19) 4th-8th graders, including students from St. Ann's and St. Stephen's, produced some rewarding results.

Our 7th and 8th Grade boys took 2nd place in the City Championship for the small school's division as noted by the trophy in the school office! This team of boys included Tomas Diaz, Brian Bishop, AJ McCracken, Taylor West, and Nathan Hoppman. We had several boys place 5th in several events and everyone improved in their events from the beginning of the short season.

A BIG thank you to Sherry Teegarden who lead our coaches and team this year.  She was assisted by Tiffany Teegarden, David Teegarden, Christa Hoppman and Vicki Sifuentes. It takes our parents to make athletics available to our children, so without them, track would not have happened at Nativity this year.  Nicely done everyone!

REMINDER TO TURN IN VOLLYBALL INTENTION FORMS:

If you are a 3rd through 7th grade girl this year who would like to play volleyball next school year, please turn in the intention form sent home last week.  If you are a 3rd grade parent and would be interested in coaching or assisting the volleyball team next year, or know someone who might, please contact Michelle Cummings, 719-1372.  We need you to make this work. Thank you .

THANKS TO ANN THOMASON!

For many years, the Nativity Athletic Committee was supported and led by Ann Thomason, among many others.  She has been instrumental in the numerous tasks required by the Parochial League to run our volleyball, basketball and track seasons.  Because her youngest son, Michael, is graduating 8th grade this year, she'll be leaving us.  The Athletic Committee would like to thank her for everything she has done from organizing, communicating, coordinating and running our sports programs.  We'll miss you, Ann!
