Thank you to the 7th grade parents who volunteered their time and energy to the 8th grade reception Thursday evening after the graduation.
We still have openings for our 3 & 4 yr old program for 2017-18. Please call the office at 353-0284 or if you prefer, stop in the office for more information.
DEBTS NEED TO BE PAID:
If fees (including Extended Care, Hot Lunch, Library fines, lost books ) aren’t paid, report cards and/or diplomas will be held. Please keep your payments current. If there is a problem, please contact us.
Report Cards and results of the Iowa Assessments will be sent home with your child on the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL along with an end of year letter which replaces the traditional June letter. In order for report cards to go home on the final day of classes, all Nativity accounts and tuition must be paid in full.

Nativity School would like to thank Ann Thomason’s On A Roll Catering for providing our students and teachers a school lunch program. Also, we would like to thank Mrs. Pat Thomason, Mrs. Mary Clark and Mrs. Brandy Warren for serving the lunch. We couldn’t have done it without you.
FIELD DAY – Tue., May 23 – 12:10 p.m. Dismissal:
For Field Day on Tue., May 23rd students are to wear their ANGEL group color shirts. We will dismiss at 12:10 p.m.
Yearbook Signing will be on Wednesday, May 24th at 10:30 on the playground. Yearbooks have been ordered and are on their way. If you are not sure if you ordered a Yearbook for your child, please contact the school office. We will have a very limited number of extra books to sell. Cost is now $25.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!
The last day of school will be Wednesday, May 24th. We welcome all parents to join with us to celebrate the end of the year at the all-school mass on Wednesday, May 24. Students will be dismissed at 12:10 p.m.
EXTENDED CARE NEWS:
The deadline to sign up for May 23 (1st thru 7th only) was Wednesday, May 17th.
Extended Care is Closed on Wednesday, May 24.
Please make sure your Extended Care bill is up to date. Have a Blessed Summer!!!
The first day of school for the 2017-2018 school year will be Wednesday, Aug. 16. Kindergarten and Preschool will have their first day on Wednesday, the 16th.
We will dismiss at 12:10 pm on August 16th and start full days on Thursday, Aug. 17th.
Nativity Scout Troop 178 is having a fundraiser on May 23, 2017 from 11am-10pm. Please join us at Pie Five Pizza Co. 18921 E Valley View Parkway Independence, MO 64055 (across from Costco).
Just mention that you are here supporting Nativity of Mary Scouts, Troop 178 and enjoy!
LOST AND FOUND:
If you are missing any coats, sweaters, lunch boxes, etc., please check the box in the stairwell on the 3rd floor from 8:15 am to 2:45 pm. We will also display items at drop off & pickup for retrieval. Anything not claimed by May 24 will be donated to Goodwill.
Yellow and White bags are $10.00 a roll. These will be available during June and August. The school office is not open in July.
Please continue to recycle your junk mail, office papers, newspapers, etc. Our recycle bin is in the south parking lot behind school. Please continue to save pop tabs, boxtops and Best Choice barcodes during the summer.
This is the last newsletter for the 2016/17 school year.
The school office will be open Monday thru Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. during June and early August. We are closed all of July.
